(I&#8217;ve blogged about this search previously <a title=\"Space News Round-up\" href=\"http:\/\/www.jasonbennion.com\/2006\/08\/space_news_roundup\/\">here<\/a>, <a title=\"More on the Apollo Tapes\" href=\"http:\/\/www.jasonbennion.com\/2006\/08\/more_on_the_apollo_tapes\/\">here<\/a>, and <a title=\"The Latest on the Tapes\" href=\"http:\/\/www.jasonbennion.com\/2006\/08\/the_latest_on_the_tapes\/\">here<\/a>.) To cut to the chase, they haven&#8217;t found them yet.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>The inquiry into the whereabouts of the SSTV tapes has not proven easy.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Budget cuts at NASA in the post-Apollo years meant that many day-to-day records were discarded.
