He looks relaxed and healthy and confident, a larger-than-life man at the top of his game.<\/p>\n<p>Incidentally, if you&#8217;re into Papa H, a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2012\/07\/05\/books\/a-farewell-to-arms-with-hemingways-alternate-endings.html\">new edition<\/a> of <em>A Farewell to Arms<\/em> was published last week containing all 47 alternate endings he tried out and ultimately abandoned, packaged inside the original cover art. Looks like an interesting volume, although to be honest I haven&#8217;t read <em>Farewell<\/em> since high school and don&#8217;t recall being terribly moved by it.
