{"id":1327,"date":"2008-03-10T21:14:42","date_gmt":"2008-03-10T21:14:42","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.jasonbennion.com\/?p=1327"},"modified":"2008-03-10T21:14:42","modified_gmt":"2008-03-10T21:14:42","slug":"indy_iv_payoff_onesheet","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.jasonbennion.com\/index.php\/2008\/03\/10\/indy_iv_payoff_onesheet\/","title":{"rendered":"Indy IV &#8220;Payoff&#8221; One-Sheet"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>As expected, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.jasonbennion.com\/2007\/12\/official_indy_iv_onesheet.html\">that one-sheet<\/a> for <i>Kingdom of the Crystal Skull<\/i> that you&#8217;ve been seeing around is just the &#8220;teaser.&#8221; Here&#8217;s the regular release design, which <a href=\"http:\/\/www.indianajones.com\/site\/index.html\">the official Indiana Jones web site<\/a> is calling the &#8220;payoff&#8221; poster:<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.jasonbennion.com\/images\/indy-iv_1sht_reg.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Indy IV payoff poster\" src=\"http:\/\/www.jasonbennion.com\/images\/indy-iv_1sht_reg-thumb.jpg\" width=\"400\" height=\"592\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ve never heard that term before, but it seems to fit. In more ways than one. I <i>really<\/i> like this design. It&#8217;s in keeping with the standard pattern for Indiana Jones movies: the first poster depicted just Indy alone, and now this design is a collage featuring all the primary characters with a bit of action at the bottom. It is, in fact, <i>very<\/i> similar to the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.fotos.org\/galeria\/data\/576\/Movie-Poster-Indiana-Jones-and-the-The-Last-Crusade.jpg\">regular release design for <i>Last Crusade<\/i><\/a>, which is as it should be. It makes this fourth movie feel like it really is part of the series instead of just an afterthought. (Of course, we&#8217;ll see what the actual <i>movie<\/i> is like, but I think at this point my skepticism has degraded to about the same consistency as cheesecloth. I&#8217;m ready Uncle George, take me now!)<\/p>\n<p>Still a couple of months to go, of course, before opening day.
