This is something I really want to make a comment on but nothing seems appropriate or to do it justice. It always makes me cringe when I see it--the cruelty and audacity to actually construct a metal gate with this statement in it. I always think, "What a cruel, twisted joke." It is also a double (twisted) irony that intense work results in death not freedom, but in a sense that is also a liberty from the hell of this place.

All thoughts I had as well. I had a hard time deciding whether or not to even caption these shots because it's so difficult to think of anything to say.
