iPrecious

Man, the crap just keeps on coming today! Hope Cranky Robert is around, especially for this next item:

Swear on the iPrecious!

I myself seem to be immune to the allure of this particular device -- I can't help but think of how greasy and icky that nifty touch interface will get after you hold it up to your face to make a call on a really hot day -- but I know some people around my place of employment who are salivating like Pavlov's infamous pooch.

As usual, click the pic for a better view...

What has it got in its ringtoneses?

Sauron's Theme, naturally...

I can't believe we're actually speculating about such things, but . . . no, I don't think poor Smeagol would have Sauron's theme song as his ring tone!

From Book 4, Chapter 1: "Then suddenly his voice and language changed, and he sobbed in his throat, and spoke but not to them. 'Leave me alone, gollum! You hurt me. O my poor hands, gollum . . .' He got up and clenched his long hand into a bony fleshless knot, shaking it towards the East. 'We won't!' he cried. 'Not for you.'"

Well, how about the little ditty he sings in The Two Towers (movie version) about the glories of fish? Smeagol loves his fishes...

You two really do scare me sometimes....

Sorry, ducks, we is what we is... :)
