Best. Album. Ever.
Here're some more amusing photos from the e-mail, this time courtesy of the inimitable Chenopup, who wanted to share with me his latest acquisition:
Cheno's explanation for owning this particular recording:
I obtained this LP in Sugarhouse at the old record store there that is now closed. Needless to say they couldn't get the $.99 asking price so it was given to me.
How sad is that, that the high point of Jimmy McNichol's career can't even fetch a measly buck these days? What a travesty. This object should be in a museum somewhere, if for no other reason than to document those groovy '70s-vintage satin jackets. Man, I always wanted a satin jacket...

I agree with your satin jacket comment. What other kind of jacket could also be worn as a shirt? Multipurpose Discowear. Sadly we've left that era...

Sad indeed, my friend...

What's sad is the logic that leads to a kid with no chest hair wearing a jacket unzipped down to his navel.
And don't even get me started on the whole "Hey sis - I've got an idea for the album cover! How about if you sit on my neck and snap your fingers?" thing...

You mean there was logic involved in this? Wow, who knew... I thought that if you wore a satin jacket, it just naturally tended to come unzipped down to the navel all by itself...
